The owner of this project is Saudi State Grid, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Saudi Electricity Company (hereinafter referred to as "Saudi Electricity Company"). This project is a key project launched by Saudi Arabia under the background of the "2030 Vision" to cope with the increasing industrial electricity demand, improve the grid structure, enhance the grid peak shaving capacity, and ensure the safe and stable operation of the grid.
